Osaka Hibachi & Sushi - Knoxville: Authentic Korean Cuisine in a Cozy Setting

I usually get the sesame chicken which is sweet with an amazing crunchiness. The portions are generous. The menu has a wide variety and tastes pretty authentic. The woman running it is very sweet and personable and gives great service. Definitely a repeat customer of this small restaurant.

Absolutely love this place! The Korean food is outstanding easily some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Every Korean dish I’ve tried has been full of flavor and totally satisfying. If you’re specifically craving authentic Korean cuisine, this spot is a hidden gem. Just a heads-up: if you’re in the mood for more general Asian dishes like hibachi or sushi, this probably isn’t the place for that. But for Korean food? It’s 10/10 and always hits the spot. Some of my go-to favorites are the jajangmyeon (noodles in a rich black bean sauce , don’t be scared, it looks super dark because of the beans, but it doesn't taste like beans, I promise!), tteokbokki (chewy rice cakes in a sweet and spicy sauce), and the bulgogi (marinated beef that’s tender, savory, and slightly sweet). All three are flavorful, comforting, and delicious you really can’t go wrong with any of them. The ambiance isn’t the best, but honestly, the food speaks for itself. And if that bothers you, you can always grab it to go. The older lady who works there is always so kind and clearly works incredibly hard she really makes the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I seriously wish there were more places like this. Highly recommend for anyone who loves real Korean food at a great price

Have to say I like the cold complimentary dishes, it has kimchi, eggs and potato salad. Kimchi is not that good but other two are fine. However, try to avoid the salmon sushi as it is very small. And the jajangmyeon, the sauce is correct( cannot say authentic both to Chinese one and Korean one), other than that , the noodle and radish inside the sauce do not have any connection to Chinese version nor Korean version. It edible, but not worthwhile to go if you would like to find any authentic Asian food

Wonderful food! The place seems a little empty, being so huge, but lots of space for larger groups. Not that they have no bar, or any acholic beverages, which would really make it a better in person experience. That being said, they are still the best Korean food in the area, bar none.

The food and restaurant itself weren't anything special. The complementary Kimchi and sides were okay. The Lo mein had an unusual flavor but not bad, the chicken from the hibachi was a bit dry and had some crunchy bits. The service lady was very nice and attentive however, so all in all, the service was good but the food was not.
